Our Events & Campaigns

Lafayette has many fundraising efforts throughout the year. 100% of the charitable donations raised are put into what we refer to as The Workers Challenge Fund. This fund is used to enhance the overall work experience of our employees with disabilities and ensure the stability of their future at Lafayette.

Here is a listing and description of all of Lafayette’s fundraising events and campaigns. If you have any questions please call Mary Beckerle, Development Director at 636-227-5666 x1127 or email Mary at mbeckerle@lafayetteindustries.com.

Mouse Races March
This event is a fun filled Saturday evening that’s the perfect way to beat the March blahs! It’s held at a convenient location. The evening includes mouse races, 50/50 mouse roulette, a silent auction and a raffle featuring great items. A $20 donation per person provides admission and snacks, including a fantastic taco buffet. There’s also a cash bar.

Regardless of your betting results for the evening, you will always end up a winner - helping adults with disabilities while having a great time with your family and friends!

Sponsorships $20 A sponsorship allows you to name a mouse. Your mouse will appear on the racing form. We suggest naming your mouse in honor of your favorite Lafayette employee!

Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive October
Knights of ColumbusLafayette has been grateful to receive donations from several area Knights of Columbus councils each year. In return, many Lafayette employees and their family members donate their time to collect funds in the Annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Shoppers make cash donations to the Knights of Columbus collectors posted at the doors of many area businesses. Each October please look for the bright yellow and orange vests of the Knight’s collectors and make a contribution.  In return you’ll receive tootsie rolls – and who doesn’t love those!
