Lafayette Industries has operated skin packaging lines for over twenty years. Skin packaging, also called thermo vacuum packaging, combines heat, vacuum,coated boardstock and coated film. The combination creates a lightskin of film holding the product against the card. This type of packaging is ideal for all types of products such as lawn and garden, hardware and parts sets and is better suited to heavier parts than blister pack. Skin board can be printed individualized or generically printed and then each card labeled sku specific.
